The popular orchestra Los Van Van celebrated its 40th anniversary with a presentation at Karl Marx Theater in this capital.
Almost five thousand people applauded and danced to the rhythm of one of most prominent orchestras of the world, said maestro José Luis Cortés (El Tosco), one of the guests on the stage.
In the two hours live concert also performed Omara Portuondo and founders of the orchestra Ángel Bonne, Césa Pedroso (Pupy) and Pedrito Calvo.
People enjoyed compositions like Será, Arrasando, Tal vez, El negro no tiene na and El que baila gana, plus a film material that reviewed the history of Van Van, founded in December 4th, 1969.
Juan Formell thanked people for attending the concert and for the preference, reiterating the idea that the dancer is the main target of everything they do.
