Casa de las Américas will be the venue for the Encounter counting with the participation of nearly 100 specialists, editors and guests from the region, the event is to start this Monday November 15, 2009 and it will be on session until day 20.
The program foresees to exchange experiences on the journals of the area and acknowledge those being emblematic and their founders as well and design joint cultural projects, possible networks and other means of exchange from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Casa de las Américas, will continue with the analysis of its two foundational journals within the Caribbean Centre: la Revista de Avance (Cuba) and Révue Indigène (Haiti), both publications meant a landmark within the social and cultural scenario of their nations.
