"We are brother countries and peoples, so we must work more to strengthen our links," the official stated.
Moreno carried out a working visit to Cuba June 15-17, on an invitation by the Cuban culture minister Abel Prieto.
Both officials inked a memorandum of understanding, to foster cultural links between Cuba and Colombia.
The document is aimed at supporting cultural diversity and patrimonial preservation of the two countries, as well as enhancing artistic exchanges and experiences of community cultural labor, among other aspects.
Moreno's agenda on the island included the opening of the Slave Route Museum in the western province of Matanzas, and the exhibition "Afro-America, the Third Root."
