The minister will converse on Wednesday with members of a community center and will meet later with the management staff of the Cubadeportes enterprise. He will also visit the Havana-based Anti-Doping Control Center.

The program also includes a visit to the International School of Physical Education and Sports and will meet with officials of the Cuban Culture Ministry and leaders of the Young Communist League (UJC).

On Saturday, Meriton will meet with the president of the Cuban National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), Christian Jimenez, with whom he will sign a cooperation agreement.

The visiting minister will also attend the Cuba-Bulgaria game of the men's World Volleyball League on Friday at Havana's Sports City coliseum.
