Presided by Alberti's daughter Aitana, other invited poets to the encounter that will extend until next Saturday, are poets Luis García Montero, Julio Neira, Luis Muñoz and Benjamin Prado.

García's masterful conference, and the setting in circulation of the third volume of the collection "Poemas de Ida y Vuelta" that gathers texts of his own and Cuban poet Reina María Rodríguez, figure in the program of the first day.

Other events will include the presentation of a CD of the anthology "Palabra Viva", dedicated to the author.

Conferences of the invited personalities, concerts and a documentary film on Rafael Alberti, a poet in the street, complete the program.

The event is organized by the Pablo of the Torriente Brau Cultural Center and the Embassy of Spain.
