surrealist landscapes, conceived through the author's perceptions about the ecology, with which he expresses a critical speech on the destiny of the world. The author proposes with an aesthetic quality futurist visions that might be real or unreal.

Wilber Ortega proposes surprising landscapes by means of a wide range of tonalities that express a hidden reflexive message in his painting.

Prayers in Silence will be exhibited for a month. His author Wilber Ortega graduated at the Provincial Academy of Plastic arts of Las Tunas in 1993. He as obtained international pizes, among them the second Prize of the World Food Program in Action, and the main Prizes of the Exhibition Hall Espince and Cucalambe.

With some 15 personal exhibitions and 30 collective, the pieces of Wilber are part of private collections in Cuba, United States, Spain, Belgium, and other countries of Europe.

After five months of reconstruction the Gallery UNEAC opened the doors to the public of Las Tunas, with the personal exhibition Prayers in Silence, by the pastic artist Wilber Ortega.
