High school graduates from the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus will have greater possibilities to attend college next school year due to an increase in university courses, as compared to last year.  
 
The abovementioned entrance examinations will determine the students' registration for some 1 014 scholarships.

Local sources told Escambray that once registered, students will be asked to sign a document in which he or she agrees with the higher education policy. In case of breaking the promise, the student won't be allow to register again for two years.
