Rivera will interpret the memorable piece "Lamento Borincano", by composer Rafael Hernandez, which narrates the situation of farmers and the poor in Puerto Rico in the 30Â?s. The gala is a part of the celebrations of the Cubadisco Fair in Cuba.

The concert will take place at the Garcia Lorca Concert Hall, in Havana, under the conduction of Hugo Osle and with the performances of the National Concert Band and the Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.

International Fair Cubadisco, the most important event of the Cuban Phonographic industry, will be based in Havana from May 16-24.
