The Third Games of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) continue Tuesday with more than 48 medals won in 10 sports, including the first final swimming competition. That discipline and weightlifting will include nine medals, respectively, and archery eight.

Other medals are in roller skating (four), tae kwon do (four), shooting (four), table tennis (three), fencing (three), cycling (two) and diving (two).

Another attraction is the second semifinal boxing, while jai alai, tennis and yachting will have their qualifying competitions.

Other collective modalities are softball, volleyball and beach volleyball, football and water polo.

So far, the main Cuban team is first, followed by Venezuela and the island's second group.

The third edition of the ALBA games started Wednesday and will be run until April 27 in the 14 Cuban provinces and the Isle of Youth special municipality.
