The US Treasury Department denied her the licence to travel to Cuba, but the artist sent four rolls of paintings to the 10th Havana Biennial exhibition to be exhibited to the Cuban public.

As was referred to the journalist Yosvany Noguet, of Cuban Television, her work is a testimony of the solidarity with the Palestinian cause and of faith in human values.

Her work is exhibited in the Havana Asian House under the title: Para nuestra bella tierra, resistencia a la fuerza avasalladora y sueños de paz (For our beautiful land, resistance to the overpowering strength and dreams of peace).

She remembered her participation in the 8th Havana Biennial Exhibition with some of her sculptures, as well as how she wanted to come this year, but the US government prevents her from doing it, ended.
