The visit will contribute to strengthening the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, forged in the struggle for Namibian independence and the final defeat of the Apartheid regime in South Africa.

President Pohamba will hold official talks with President Raul Castro and meet with other Communist Party and government leaders. He will also visit places of economic, scientific, social and historic interest.
