Cuba's First Vice President Holds Talks with Prime Minister of Cape Verde

Among those present during the talks were José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, Cuba's Minister of Health and member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba; Fernando Remírez de Estenoz, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party; Felipe Pérez Roque, Cuba's Foreign Minister; and Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, the Minister of Foreign Investment and Economic Collaboration.
Accompanying the prime minister of Cape Verde were José María Veiga, Minister of the Environment, Rural Development and Marine Resources; Octavio Tavares, Secretary of State of Education; Jorge Borges, Secretary of Foreign Businesses; Crispina Gomes, Cape Verde's Ambassador to Cuba; Jacquelin Pereira, General Director of Health; and Pedro Graciano de Carvalho, the prime minister's advisor.
Prime Minister José María Pereira Neves and his accompanying delegation from Cape Verde will continue their visit to Cuba through this week, meeting with Cuban officials and visiting places of economic and social interest.
