The Cuban Association of Film Media chose the best motion pictures screened in the Caribbean island in 2008, including several Latin American films.

The list of top films includes "La Rabia" (Argentina), "Elite Troop (Brazil) and "Parque Vía" (Mexico), which were exhibited at Havana's Latin American Film Festival.
"Parque Vía" won the Coral Award to an opera prima, while "La Rabia" won the prize for the best director at the Havana Festival.
Among the critics' choices were the feature-length films "No Country for Old Men" (United States), "La Vie en Rose" (France), "Blindness" (Brazil) and "Wells of Ambition" (United States). Other films were "I'm not There" (United States) and "Wish: Danger" (China).
