Guevara is proposing to gather together at the event Puentes y más puentes (Bridges and more bridges), which main goal is to “to favor an alliance of the lucid intellectual forces of the cinema and the audiovisual, before the banal commercialism spreads more and more”.

The message titled S.O.S Amistad (S.O.S Friendship) is also addressed to Hollywood and New York producers, to the independent ones, to Chicanos, Puerto Ricans and all Latinos residents in the USA. It will be, ads, “a non prejudiced rapprochement to know, understand, talk and enrich the creative experience (…) without the a predominance of any pressures or ideologies, open to drive through the bridges we have in front of us”.
