Cuba Talks about Theater for Children
The reseacher and professor Freddy Artiles insisted in a conference in the importance of the theater works to influence the intelligence of the infants and adolescents, being this last, a very difficult and complicated stage, he said.

"It is definitely not easy to write for that kind of audience and whoever thinks that way is in a mistake. Same requirements needed to write for adults are needed", he emphasized.

During two days of work in this city, 62 miles east Havana, experts and actors carried out text readings and five books of the local publishing houses Matanzas and Vigia were presented.

The event was meant to pay tribute to Artiles, Rene Fernandez (2007 National Prize of Theater) and Gerardo Fulleda, three prominent Cuban theatre players.
