The same technology used in other mines of the Isle of Youth, like that of chromium, in Moa, and copper, in Santiago de Cuba, will be used this time in the exploitation, but adapted for the extraction of those mentioned minerals, to save resources.
A course to train technicians in mining geology started recently to prepare the future chiefs, technologists and operators of plants.
With the collaboration of the ALBA, one of the most outstanding and successful processes of integration in Latin America, Cuba is developing several economic and social programs, like the energy resort of Cienfuego and the construction of petrohouses.
