Artists from the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba will participate in the 3rd Festival of the Mayan Caribbean Culture, from November 20-23, on Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

According to experts, the Estrellas de la Charanga orchestra, members of the Cutumba Folk Dance Ballet, the Iglesias duet and researchers from the Caribbean House, will participate in the event.
The Cuban delegation will accompany artists from Belize, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and several Mexican states, including Veracruz, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
The experts added that the festival promotes rapprochement among Caribbean countries through their artistic performances.
The festival will promote a wide range of folkloric options, including Mexican cuisine.
