In Habana Exhibition Imagenes de la danza in the José Marti National Library
Sponsored by the National Dance Museum and the José Martí National Library, and with advises of Cuban visual arts personalities Lesbia Vent Dumois and Nelson Herrera Ysla, Imágenes de la danza is made up by more than thirty pictures of Cuban and European artists, unpublished pieces that are part of the funds of the National Dance Museum.

In Imágenes de la danza there are exhibited pieces by well known painter, among whom are Servando Cabrera Moreno, Manuel Mendive, Iliana Mulet, Iris Leyva, Alicia Leal, Juan Moreira, Ever Fonseca, Ricardo Reymena, Nancy Reyes, Siefried Kaden, Manuel Mico. The exhibition also includes many ancient documents that recollect the history of the Cuban National Ballet from their foundation to our times.

The exhibition Imágenes de la danza is part of the tributes for the 60th anniversary of the Cuban National Ballet and to its founder and general director, prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso and for the festivities for the 21st Havana International Ballet Festival which will be inaugurated next October 28.
