Eastern Santiago de Cuba province is ready to meet the growing demand from foreign vacationers during the upcoming peak tourist season.

Local authorities pointed out that hotels are operational after the region was recently hit by two hurricanes.
They added that their goal is to promote responsible, environmental and sustainable tourism.
As part of the sector's expansion strategy for next year, Santiago de Cuba will host major events, including the International Tourism Fair and the 7th Meeting on Nature Tourism.
November marks the beginning of the winter tourist season, which closes in April.
