Guatemalans Study Doing Business with Cuba
Ambassador Omar Morales gave an account of the characteristics of the Cuban market, the proximity between the two countries, and possibilities to strengthen bilateral links.

Morales informed that the Havana Fair, one of the most important in the continent and attended by 72 Guatemalan executives last year, will be held November 3-8.

The meeting was attended by nearly 120 representatives from several Guatemalan companies, and officials from the local chancellery, the Industry and Trade Chambers, the Coordinating Committee of Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Associations, and the Central American Guatemalan-German Chamber.

"The forum surpassed all expectations, and there is great interest among Guatemalan businesspeople in trading with Cuba and attending the coming Havana Fair," said Zamora.
