According to Granma newspaper the Cuban leader had bilateral meetings with Presidents Fernando Lugo of Paraguay, Dimitris Christofias of Cyprus and Mahmud Abbas of the Palestinian National Authority.

He also exchanged with the Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal of Nepal and Ralph Gonsalves of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khien.

Today’s session continues the general debate of the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly where the Cuban first vice president is scheduled to speak.
