Nelson Peace Fernández, director of the Provincial Citrus Enterprise, said that the collective and of other support forces are committed to conclude the storing of the fruit before the weekend.

The gathered grapefruit is processed in the Ceballos Citrus Industry, where exquisite juices and tropical nectars are elaborated for their commercialization in the country and abroad.
The effort of the citrus workers is among the most outstanding actions of the local people to recover from the damages caused by the hurricane  

Paz Fernández also made reference to the work done to repair the houses for protected crops of vegetables and tobacco that were disassembled before the threat.
