Cienfuegos and Matanzas are currently in the Informative stage, since
hurricane Ike may affect the whole country.
Ike is a dangerous hurricane category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson scale
currently approaching the northern coast of eastern Cuba. The storm
maintains 215-km per hour winds with higher gusts. Over the next 12 to 24 hours Ike will continue to move west-southwest at some 24 km per hour.
