"The Argentine", a new movie by Oscar-winning US director Steven Soderbergh based on the life of Latin American revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara, had its world premier Friday in Spain to mixed reviews.
The film, which stars Puerto Rican actor Benicio Del Toro, depicts Guevara and Fidel Castro's triumphant guerrilla campaign to overthrow Cuba's government in the late 1950s.
The date for the release of a second film by Soderbergh called "Guerrilla" which tracks Guevara's downfall and execution after trying to foment a similar rebellion in Bolivia in the 1960s has not yet been set.
Del Toro won the best-actor prize for his depiction of Che in the two movies at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
