Camagüey City, August 30. “Alejandro Arias” Metal Productions Factory, in Camagüey City, started producing horizontal and submergible electro pumps to support urban agriculture and bull breeding.

All components for horizontal pumps are Cuban made except for the engines, meanwhile submergible pumps parts are assembled by highly qualified staff; besides, Cuban accessories such as columns, bases and boards to keep pumps underwater are also added.
Piñeiro Libera affirmed the first lot, made of 470 machines; to support cattle raising water supply, was already delivered.
In the period from September to December, 900 additional pumps will be destined to the tobacco industry.
The plant has also produced more than 50 kilometers of metal fence during this year.
