As a sample of the advance in the system of health, Cuba spreads the neurobrain surgery by means of the endoscopy in several of its provinces.
This surgical technique, mainly present in developed countries, was applied recently in the hospital Roberto Rodriguez, in Moron, a municipality of the central preovince of Ciego de Avila.
A wire from the Cuban News Agency points out that the operation was carried out to the patient Elisnay Garcia Biset, 28 years old, who is in recovery phase in the above mentioned hospital.
Doctor Angel Jesus Gallant Lacerda, head of the services of Neurosurgery in the Hospital Roberto Rodriguez, expressed that the technique reduces the postoperative risks and helps quicker recovery of sick person.
Ciego de Avila is the fifth province that introduces such a scientific advance in the mentioned specialty, because the first one was City of Havana fallwed by Holguin, Pinar del Rio and Cienfuegos.
