Cuba will participate with two collections in the World Philatelic Exhibition Prague 2008 that will be held from September 12 to 14 in the Czech capital, declared engineer José Raúl Lorenzo, president of the Cuban Philatelic Federation in an exclusive for Radio Rebelde.

The collections are Prefilatelia cubana, by José Ignacio Abreu, winner of the National Philately Prize and member of the Spanish Academy of Philately, with headquarters in Madrid, Spain, and Estudio de la emisión de la Zona Franca de Matanzas, by José Ramón Mallón.
In this philatelic event there will be exhibits in the categories of Traditional Philately, Postal History and Un marco; a part of the collection of Queen Elizabeth II will be exhibited, as well as other worldwide prestigious collections and will take place the Junior Exhibition and EXPONET, a virtual philatelic exhibition on line.
Also, the president of the Cuban Philatelic Federation informed that the National Exhibitions of Postal History will take place from October 30 to November 2nd in the facilities of the Ministry of Informatics and Communications, in Havana, and the National Exhibitions of Thematic and Young philately in Camaguey from November 27 to 30.
