The young cuban troubadour William Vivanco in Jam Session

The Vivanco’s session is included among the activities programmed by that juvenile institution for the holiday season of July and August.

The author of songs like La isla milagrosa (The Miraculous Island), a song which won him the Fusion Award in the Fair Cubadisco 2007 and Lo tengo to´ pensa´o (first solo album) was born in Santiago de Cuba.

Pilon, Cimarron, Barrio Barroco, Negra salvame and Cafe are among the most listened hits in his discography.

William Vivanco who also works in the group Interactivo, says that "trova is very shape-shaping, it is guided by the roads of music. It has the ability to be done in any possible way. Some say it is dying, I don´t think so. It will never die. Human sensibility will always need of a guitar and a song at midnight."
