Cuban Guayaberas are among the garments made by Majagua’s clothing shop, currently undergoing a careful restoration process, which will allow for the employment of 30 operators. The refurbishment will also bring about the increase of the production indicators of the provincial Trébol Clothing Enterprise, to which the shop belongs.

The productive activities of the shop have not been stopped to carry out the investment, which decision will contribute to the reduction of imports while providing the workers with better working conditions.
So far there are six units of the kind in the province, located in the territories of Moron, Tamarindo, Ciro Redondo, Primero de Enero, Ciego de Ávila and Majagua, Since 2003 all of them have been under a managerial improvement system.
Oscar Morales Jiménez, Director General of the Enterprise in Ciego de Ávila said that the the refurbishment of the shops also demands the increase of labour force, for which reason the units are summoning people with sewing abilities.
Morales added that similar shops will be created in the future all over the province, with machinery for specialized lines and designed to work double shift , which features ensure that the Cubans will continue to wear guayaberas.
