Roble de Olor, directed by Rigoberto Lopez, opened the Cuban films exhibit in the International Center of India, commemorating the National Rebellion Day.

The screening includes La Edad de la Peseta (2007), by Pavel Giroud, La Noche de los Inocentes (2007), by Arturo Soto, El Benny (2006), by Jorge Luís Sánchez, Viva Cuba (2005), by Juan Carlos Cremata Malberti, and Barrio Cuba (2004), by Humberto Solás and is part of the activities India-Cuba solidarity movement organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cuban Revolution.
Roble de Olor attracted the audience, mainly due to the argument liberal ideas versus intolerance and colonial oppression in Cuba, elements found in Indian people's fight for sovereignty.
El Benny was first screened in India during the Goa Film Festival last year, event attended by national film making celebrities and relevant international stars.
Another Cuban films exhibit enjoyed by local cinema lovers just ended in Chennai, capital of the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
