Films screened included El Benny, about the life of the famous Cuban singer-songwriter, which was favourably received by the public, according to a press release issues by the Cuban Embassy.
The Cuban Cinema Week was organized jointly by the Madras French Alliance and the Indian Cinema Appreciation Foundation, in collaboration with the Cuban Embassy to India.
This is the second Cuban Cinema Week in Chennai, with the first held in 2007.
