For its part, Operation Miracle, a Cuban-Venezuelan free–eye assistance project also provides important results for the population and where the physicians of Pinar del Río give their contribution as well.
Bolivia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, South Africa and Venezuela, are some of the states where the doctors devote themselves to work without missing a single opportunity to do something for someone.
Henry Reeve brigade in Pinar del Río is comprised by 138 professionals, 15 of them returned from China a few days ago, where they received the recognition of the government and the acknowledgment of the people for their efforts and dedication during those work days after the earthquake that whipped that nation.
The relatives of the collaborators receive attention during their absence by a commission that exists in each of the 14 municipalities of the province and involves all the factors and entities of the territories.
