The information services of the ministries of Culture and Tourism, and the National Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC) contributed to the Guide, which was printed by Prensa Latina News Agency.
According to experts, the document summarizes the country's history and provides information about prominent Cuban political and cultural personages, as well as major institutions, which are distributed in all 169 Cuban municipalities, thus the close link between tourism and traditions.
