This years edition of the May Festival was dedicated to Quito, the capital of Ecuador and the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
Babel, the space which promotes the fine arts in the May Festival, stands this time by his proposal of 15 performances and 40 exhibitions of outstanding artists like Guayasamin and Peter Nadin, Canadian Ingrid Bachmann , Cubans Vicente Rodriguez Bonachea, Cosme Proenza and Jorge Hidalgo.
Also, the exhibition "The posters for diversity", comprising of 150 works of UNESCO, belonging to 51 designers worldwide, was opened at the Wifredo Lam Center as part of the activities programmed for the event.
