The website is aimed at facilitating access to the content of the most outstanding papers presented at different Cuban forums on the subject at the national and provincial levels, thus contributing to their spreading.
For the time being, those interested can access the full text of 1 192 works, including all the papers considered outstanding during the recently held 15th Forum, as well as a group of the most important works presented during the two forums prior to this one. According to the sources of the organizing committee of INFO 2008, in the near future the site will also include a list of all the concrete solutions to actual problems on the island, provided by the forums on science and technology, especially from the 7th forum.
The website is the result of the joint effort of experts with the Center for Information and Technology Management, in central Villa Clara province, and the National Library on Science and Technology of the Scientific and Technological Information Institute (IDICT), attached to CITMA.
