During the meeting in Havana, Raul and Vazquez Raña exchanged ideas about topics of interest for Mexico and Cuba and referred to their long- lasting close relations.
According to a note published on Monday by Granma news daily, they said they hope bilateral relations between Cuba and Mexico again reach their traditional excellent levels.
Present in the meeting were Cuban Vice President Jose Ramon Fernandez and Jimena Saldaña Gutierrez, co-general director of the Mexican editorial Organization.
