Invited to the meeting are Cubans residing in the Spanish communities of Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, Aragon and the Balearic Islands, as well as the principality of Andorra.
The agenda includes issues related to the nearly half century US blockade on Cuba and the growing hostility of the US government towards the Caribbean island.
One of the central points for discussion is the case of the Cuban Five, imprisoned since 1998 in the US for gathering information to prevent terrorist attacks against Cuba.
The organizers said it is their hope that the meeting results in the approval of a plan of action and several resolutions.
