The demand for the Cuban music is growing in the world
Gonzáles declared to Prensa Latina that many of the most successful Cuban artists and groups belong to the EGREM catalogue.

She recognised the high quality of the Cuban pieces as one of the main factors in this demand, seen in the most diverse genres and for the most varied public.

Over 50 groups and singers belonging to EGREM have been nominated for the next Cubadisco 2008, the most important competition of the Cuban record industry.

EGREM has been producing Cuban music for the world for over 40 years. Rumba, cha-cha-chá, guaracha, son, salsa, bolero and the most varied genres are part of their proposals that count about 500 titles edited in CD.

The company has five record studios and a mobile studio.

Legendary figures, such as Nat King Cole, Josephine Baker, Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés, Chucho Valdés, Sonia Silverte, Soledad Bravo, Vicente Garrido, Susana Bacca, Roy Brown, Ry Cooder, Miguelito Valdés and the members of the Buena Vista Social Club among many other have record at their studios.
