Cuban ambassador Jose Luis Robaina spoke on advances and the current situation in the island and denounced the unjust condemnation against the five men.
One hundred representatives from several social sectors of this capital, and Auckland and Hamilton cities attended the meeting.
The musical group Los Andes, mainly made up of Chilean revolutionaries emigrated since the bloody military coup by General Augusto Pinochet, sang popular Latin American songs.
