Generate Jobs in Cuba: Mining investments
Among those taking the course are 15 youths unrelated to work or school so far, according to a report about the works of the projects Plata Cuba, Cobre Mantua and Polimetálicos Castellanos that was presided over Yadira García Vera, Minister of the Basic Industry, as well as Olga Lidia Tapia Iglesias, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Party in the province.

Furthermore these entities need other technicians, so it is planned the training of plant operators, instrument technicians and environment specialists, which will possible new jobs in the territory and the redeployment of some workers of the Geomining Enterprise.

Also, alternatives are being sought to cover the necessities of mining, metallurgical, chemical and electrical engineers.

Although the qualified labor force is currently being filled to these mineral extraction plants, there is a project to train more engineers and technicians in the territory in order to guarantee the personnel for the current programs and the coming ones.
