Venezuelan, Cuba, Nicaragua and Bolivia concluded the constituent agreement of the ALBA Bank

The agreement was finalized on Tuesday in Caracas during a meeting among representatives from the four ALBA member countries, which was also joined last January by Dominica.
According to a communiqué read by Isea, the ALBA Bank has an authorized capital of two billion dollars and a subscribed capital of one billion that will serve to finance projects previously approved by the ALBA Ministerial Council.
The text notes that each country will have a branch of the Bank, while its head office is in Caracas.
The constituent ceremony was also attended by the President of Cubas Central Bank, Francisco Soberon; the Nicaraguan Treasury Minister, Alberto Jose Guevara; and the Bolivian Ambassador to Caracas, Jorge Alvarado.
