"Personal Belongings" a Cuban movie by Alejandro Brugues at Malaga Film Festival

Cuban movie Personal Belongings, that won in Havana and is made by Alejandro Brugues, will be showed at the Malaga Film Festival from the 4th up to the 12th of April.

The film will take part in the Latin American Territory section together with another nine movies: Cumbia Callera, by Rene U. Villarreal (México); 7 soles, Pedro Ultreras (México); Radio corazón, by Roberto Artiagoitia (Chile); and Todos los días son tuyos, by Jose Luis Gutiérrez Arias (México).

A total of 15 Spanish feature films will compete in this edition of the Festival to be held in the southern Spanish city.

The selection will include nine premieres: Pretextos, by Silvia Munt; Bienvenido a Farewell-Gutmann, by Xavi Puebla; Tres días, by Javier Gutiérrez; Fuera de carta, by Nacho García Velilla; 8 citas", by Peris Romano and Rodrigo Sorogoyen and Proyecto Dos, by Guillermo Groizard.

Pájaros muertos, by Guillermo and Jorge Sempere; Naranjo en flor, by Antonio González Vigil also take part in the competition. The event will close by Un poco de chocolate, by Aitzol Aramaio, a movie that is out of competition.

The official selection is completed by Paisito, by Ana Díez; Enloquecidas, by Juan Luis Iborra; Rafael, by Xavier Bermúdez; Cobardes, by Juan Cruz and José Corbacho and Gente de mala calidad, by Juan Cavestany.

In this edition the jury was chaired by Guy Braucourt and made, among other people, by the Spanish actor Juan Diego and the Argentinean director Eliseo Subiela.
