Cuba Participates in International Tourism Fair in Russia

Present in the event are foreign firms that manage tourist facilities on the island such as Ibero Star, Sol Melia, Occidental and Hoteles C.
Carlos Oscar Hernandez, head of the MINTUR office in Russia, said that they hope to sign several contracts during the event as a result of joint efforts between Cuban and Russian entities who are expecting to take more than 30,000 Russian travelers to Cuba in 2008.
According to Prensa Latina news agency, the first day of the fair was dedicated to Cuba.
