Omara, 77, and Maria, 61, are performing alone and in extraordinary duets that move the audience, who often applaud enthusiastically and sometimes
sing along with the 20 songs. Guantanamera had to be sung twice - in the two-hours show.

The concert caught the audience from the first duet "Cio da Terra" in separate verses, Bethania's in Portuguese and Portuondo's in Spanish. Omara really enjoyed singing the classic of "O que Sera" by Chico Buarque, and she receives a hearty ovation from the audience when dedicating the song"Dos Gardenias" to the great Cuban maestro Ibrahim Ferrer, her late colleague from Buena Vista Social Club.

The performance of the seven musicians accompanying the singers, including two percussionists and a drummer, was also highlighted.
