Bolsius told ACN that this is a special moment to continue carrying cooperation actions and particularly to strengthen bilateral ties in diverse areas.

The visitor announced that on Tuesday he will participate in a bilateral committee organized by the Cuban Chamber of Commerce where they will analyze topics related to sports, health and others.

Also on Tuesday, Bolsius will receive the Illustrious Guest of Havana City distinction from the hands of Juan Contino, president of the local government in the Cuban capital. Later, they will sign a memorandum of understanding between the cities of Rotterdam and Havana.

The visiting delegation will also make a donation of sports equipment to Cuban sports centers.

During his stay on the island, Bolsius will hold meetings in the venue of the Cuban ministries of Foreign Affairs, Tourism and Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation.

He will also meet with Havana Historian Eusebio Leal and will inaugurate the Garden of Dutch Tulips in Old Havana.
