Dance of the Caribbean it is received for Cuba
The event has two axis, a competitive one and an exhibition one, with professionals invited from Cuba and from foreign countries. To this event of the makers of art through gestures and movement will come: dancers, choreographers and directors from groups, festivals and magazines specialized on this topic from twenty countries, from our area as well as from America, Europe and Africa.

An attractive program will characterize the opening gala, with Symphony for nine men, by James Kelly, with soloists from the Cuban National Ballet and the pas de deux from the third act of Don Quijote, with Anette Delgado and Joel Carreño, first dancers from the above mentioned company, all of them under the artistic and general direction of Alicia Alonso. There will also be Demon-/crazy, from the Spanish choreographer Rafael Bonachela.

The Cuban and foreign guests, outside from the competition, will perform on March 30 and 31 at 8:30 p.m. in the Mella Theater, where the closing event will take place on April 1st, with the handing in of the awards, the performance of those awarded, the Cuban National Folkloric Group, directed by Manolo Micler, and the Company by Santiago Alfonso.
