Cuban and Brazilian are preparing a feature film in Brazil titled
The film adds to two previous filmed on the traditional popular culture of the eastern area and Pernambuco - in the so-called black zone of the South American giant, and will have points in common with Caribbean artistic expressions.

One of those common points is the settlers of Mata Norte, sugarcane growers with cultural expressions similar to those of the island.

One of these, the maracatu rural, is significantly similar to gaga, an inheritance of Haitian heritage in the Antillean fields.

TV VIVA and Brazilian film director Nilton Pereira are in charge of the joint project, with the theoretical contribution of Cuban researchers, who accumulated vast experience in research into the spiritual patrimony of the Caribbean nations.
