Cuban Economy and Planning Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez pointed out these are the bases for any development program, including the food industry, construction materials, electric energy and water for the population and industries.

Cuban newspaper Granma said Rodriguez stated technical capacity will be increased in transport for passengers and cargo, repairing of ports and increase of coastal trade. The cargo centers will increase their conditions and the whole infrastructure of the sector will improve.

Rodriguez emphasized on the importance of the reorganization of the use of transport, fuel saving and rational use of resources.
