He affirmed that the conference debates will impact quality of investigations, expert answers and in the effort to reduce the number of victims in the world, where 20 percent of women and between 5 and 10 percent of men suffered sexual abuse as children.
Experts from 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean have, since Monday, debated experiences related to confronting sexual abuse of minors, exchanged information on the current limitations in the field and became aware of Cuba's progress in this area.
