The 15th Inter-Governmental Joint Commission Cuba-Algeria Concluded in Havana
The documents were penned by Cubas Foreign Trade Minister Raul de la Nuez and the Algerias Minister of Health and Population Amar Tou, reports Prensa Latina news agency.

The agreements include bilateral cooperation in the maternal-infant health program and an exchange of technologies. Cuba committed to supply vaccines, blood derivatives and other pharmaceutical products.

Minister Tou emphasized that this session moved forward in the fields of science and high technology. Meanwhile, De la Nuez explained that these agreements represent a new and important stage of developing economic, scientific, technical, and trade cooperation between the two nations.

De la Nuez said that bilateral trade in 2007 amounted to 250 million dollars and it is expected to increase in 2008.
